How we handle personal information
Last updated: 5 November 2026
Who we are
Parallel PM is the trading name of Pawel Parcheta, a sole trader based in the UK. We are the controller of the personal information described in this notice. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].
If you contact us
When you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, company, work email, your project stage and anything you choose to tell us in your message. We use it to reply, arrange a scoping call and, if you ask us to, prepare a scope of works.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
We keep enquiry details for 12 months after our last contact, unless you become a client.
If we contact you first
We sometimes introduce our services by email to businesses that are likely to need them. We only contact directors and decision-makers at limited companies and LLPs, at work, about their work.
- What we hold: company name and details, your name, role and work email, why we think our services are relevant, and a record of when we contacted you.
- Where it comes from: public sources only, such as Companies House, your company's own website, press releases and news articles. We never buy lists or use data brokers.
- Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in introducing relevant services to businesses. We have assessed that this is fair to the people we contact.
- How often: one introduction and at most two follow-ups, a week apart. Then we stop.
- How long: 12 months from our last contact, unless you become a client or we're in an active conversation.
- Opting out: reply "no thanks" to any email, or write to [email protected]. We'll stop straight away and keep only the minimum needed to make sure we don't contact you again.
If you're a client
We use the contact details of the people we work with to deliver the agreed services, under our contract with your organisation. We only access other personal data held by a client where the work needs it, under written data processing terms agreed first.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal information or share it for marketing. We use a small number of service providers to run the business:
- Microsoft 365, for email and documents
- Formspree, which receives contact form messages and forwards them to us
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website
- Google, for our internal prospect records
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards they provide under UK data protection law.
Cookies
This website doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site from abuse.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict how we use it, or object to us using it. Your right to object to direct marketing is absolute. To make a request, email [email protected].
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
